Senior gov­ern­ment source told Kuwaiti news­pa­per Al-Jaridathat the Iran­ian vice pres­i­dent asked the Kuwaiti prime min­is­ter to medi­ate between Iran and Saudi Ara­bia to resolve the dis­pute between the two coun­tries, espe­cially after Saudi Ara­bia accused Iran of being behind Al-Houthis oper­a­tions in Yemen.
