As usual Maliki attacked the Ba’ath Party again, which become a daily theme to boost his election chances. At the same time Iraqi TV aired confession of three persons claiming they are Ba’athists and they staged the last series bombing.

The denial of these confessions came from unexpected place, the Sadrsists representative in Parliament Baha’a Al-Araji who said that these confessions are fake, the three men on TV are ex-prisoners just released by the American forces.

At the same time we see Ammar AL-Hakim softened his language against the Ba’ath Party and there are even rumors say that he went to Turkey to meet the Ba’athists, while his Sadrists ally Muqatada Al-Sadr released a statement inwhich he rejected any reconciliation with Ba’athists.

In the coming days I will investigate the reality of the Ba’ath Party return to the political stage, how true is the Ba’athists comeback? What are the preparation made the Ba’ath Party to return to the political stage?

Stay tuned.…
