I bet this report is inten­tion­ally leaked by the Amer­i­can to scare the “Green Zone” gov­er­ment in Bagh­dad to speed up the process of approv­ing the Elec­tion Law.

The old/new news reported today on Al-Hayat:

West­ern sources told the news­pa­per that the U.S. CIA con­tacted Baath Party group loyal to Izzat al-Duri, who is recently the leader of Iraqi resis­tance factions.

Related to the above, Hashimi’s “Taj­did” Bloc announced the join­ing Allawi-Mutlek’s Coalition.

One thing not reported even by the Iraqi media, is that there are 13 polit­i­cal fac­tions already joined this coali­tion but not announced it offi­cially, all the polit­i­cal blocs agreed to form a lead­er­ship committee.
