For the South Yemen, the sit­u­a­tion is not much bet­ter. For­mer South-Yemen pres­i­dent Ali Salim Al-Baidh released a state­ment denies any con­nec­tions between AL-Hirak Al-Janubi and Al-Qaeda as the Yemeni try­ing to link between the two.

Al-Baidh also said that the South resis­tance will move from peace­ful resis­tance to civil dis­obe­di­ence soon.
