Every­thing you read here “Iraqi TV chan­nel prais­ing Sad­dam Hus­sein drops off satel­lite air­waves” is wrong, I am very sur­prised that news agen­cies reported this totally wrong the evi­dence used by the arti­cle is an old state­ment, put on the front page of Al-Lafeta TV web­site 6 days before even the start of broadcasting.

The TV already said that at the first day of the Eid Al-Adha there will be a pilot but the real broad­cast will be mid-November. News agen­cies claimed that the owner of the TV is an Alger­ian man called Jar­boua, the name is not even an Alger­ian name, it is well known Mid­dle East­ern, Iraqi, Gulf-States name.

The TV accepted dona­tion and announced a bank account num­ber in Lebanon, and a per­son name who owns the account. There is noth­ing called secrecy after 9/11 -
