As reported today on Saudi web­site Nash­wan­news say­ing that the Houthis rep­re­sen­ta­tive “Has­san Moham­mad Zaid” met with a Yemeni tribal leader “Amin Al-Ukaimi” met to nego­ti­ate the release of the 9 Saudi sol­diers cap­tured by the Houthis.

Accord­ing to the infor­ma­tion reported by the web­site, the Houthis asks for ran­som in exchange for the release of the 9 Saudi soldiers.

In an inter­view with Al-Alam News, Houthi spokesman said that the Saudi claims of pro­tect­ing the Yemen — Saudi Ara­bia bor­der are baseless.
