Spanish newspaper El Imparcial revealed that Moroccan special-forces trained in guerrilla warfare joined the Saudi forces in the war against Houthis in addition to two thousand Jordan’s special forces.

Sources confirmed that Moroccan King Mohammed VI approved a request from Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to send Morocco professional troops to carry out operations behind the Houthis lines.

The Spanish newspaper says that Morocco military assistance to Riyadh is timed with the existing tension in relations between Tehran and Rabat — Morocco, after Morocco cut ties with Iran accusing Tehran with launching a “Shiiaism” campaign in Moroccan cities.

As for the fights on the Yemen — Saudi border, Saudi military forces are in high alert today because the Houthis want to time the opening of a new front in “Al-Jouf” area with the Shiite religious Ghadeer Festival tomorrow.

Demographically, in Saudi “Al-Jouf” there is a big concentration of Shiite Ismaili sect, who rebelled two years ago against the Saudi government to protest the deteriorating economic conditions and the lack of development projects.

Other development in Yemen. The south-Yemen opposition “Hirak” changed its name from “Supreme Council of the peaceful revolution in the south” to “Supreme Council of peaceful mobility” (short “Hasm”), getting more organized by the formation of an executive body contains a chairman, four deputies, 41 members, as well as Secretary-General, spokesman, and a Secretary General.
