About 21,30 Baghdad time, the parliament announced that it reached an agreement, no details and information available are very little, but as far as I can find, the parliament agreed on the following:
Khalid Al-Attiyah, Deputy-House speaker said that the agreement is 325 seats in the parliament, 310 to the provinces, adding 3 seats to Kurdistan and 15 as compensatory seats, which means “everybody” got extra seats (or their seats back) except Iraqis abroad who are still at the 5%, which is the reason made Hashimi to veto the first law.
Personal opinion, no comment from Hashimi yet, but I don’t think he want to go through this again and veto the law, Hashimi will find a way to save face.
