Lebanese Addayar reported that Junblatt leader of the Lebanese Socialist Party will orchestrate an interview on Aljazeera to apologize personally from the Syria president Bashar Al-Assad, saying that he made a mistake in a difficult circumstances.
Palestinian sources told Paltoday that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told PA president Mahmoud Abbas, of Damascus’s willingness to contribute to the Palestinian internal reconciliation efforts.
Assad’s suggestion came after Hamas refused to sign the Egyptian PA-Hamas proposal. According to the sources, Abbas told Assad that Arab League, and Arab States assigned Egypt to do the Palestinian reconciliation.
