Lebanese “New TV” reported today that King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia informed the Syrian president Bashar Al-Assad of Hariri’s visit tomorrow (he already arrived in Damascus). The time is very crucial, Hariri International tribunal asked Lebanon to provide a database of fingerprints of the Lebanese citizen, especially collage students for the years 2002–2005.

While everybody expected Hezbollah’s response to Prince Saud Al-Faisal’s remarks to be angry, the head of Hezbollah’s bloc in the parliament responded calmly away from the chaos and called for the need to focus on the positives instead of negatives.

Sources said; Hezbollah is fully aware that the Saudi foreign policy is no longer controlled by Saud al-Faisal, but its directly handled by King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, especially the Syrian issue.

Hezbollah also understands that Faisal was absent from the scene for the period of time and need a “theatrical” appearance to return to the arena again. What Al-Faisal missed is the Arab and international understanding that the Hezbollah’s weapons are no longer on the negotiation table, and the same goes for resolution 1559.

in short, Al-Faisal words will not affect the relations between Saudi Arabia — Syria, which is good and positive for the region and the situation in Lebanon, Which means Al-Faisal statement will not influence the course of events.
