Hamas prisoners deal can harm U.S. friends in the region

Confusing reports of the last Israeli offer regarding the prisoners swap deal, Hamas considers the Israeli offer but they need more time to discuss the offer with its leader ship in Damascus. Al-Quds Al-Arabi advises Hamas to reject the 120 prisoners deportation proposed by the Israelis, because the Palestinian Authority made the same mistake few years ago when Israel deported PA prisoners.

The “missing link” from the whole story is revealed by Palestinian newspaper Al-Manar saying:

The U.S. administration is in continues contact with the Israeli government about the prisoners deal, discussing the names of those who will be deported. The U.S. administration sees that Hamas terms can harm the “moderate Arabs” in the region and, therefore.

There is a study suggests that Tel Aviv and Washington joined by Cairo and Amman want to dely the release of Palestinian leader Marwan Barghouti, who in his release will eliminate Mahmoud Abbas’ influence in Fatah and the Palestinian Authority, strengthen to Fatah movement ties with both Syria, Hamas and Hezbollah.

Not only a new threat to Israel, but as a result, Barghouti’s new leadership will weaken the Egyptian role in the Palestinian conflict, and an additional burden Jordan’s security.
