Demonstrations of thousands of protesters during Shiite Ashura ceremony in Karbala, chanting slogans condemned the Iranian invasion of Al-Fakkah oil well, despite the attempts made by Maliki government to prevent the broadcast of what is happened.

Iraqi Shiite Satellite TV channels blocked these demonstrations, but at least two channels succeeded (one of them Al-Anwar Kuwaiti TV Channel, and the other is a local Karbala channel broadcast — inside the Al-Hussein Shrine).

Shiite Imam Abdul Hamid Al-Muhajir, who is banned from giving his ceremonies in Karbala because his continues attacks on the Maliki’s government, he went to Basra and their started to attack Maliki again saying:

You [Maliki] must know the size of your authority. Who are you to stop us? We have waited 35 years to go back to Iraq and to Karbala. Who are you to decide who can participate in Karbala’s ceremony and who can not (video of his speech).
