The Iraqi man who recruited Al-Balawi

Many said about the the Jordian “double-agent” Humam Al-Balawi (except that he is not Al-Qaeda, he is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, according to Aljazeera, and he is a Palestinian origin, he is a “real” Jordanian), but poor reports about the Iraqi man who recruited Al-Balawi, and this is much more interesting story.

His name is Sharif Ali bin Zaid Al Aoun (he is not a prince, he is a sharif. This title carried by all persons who are related to the King), captain in the Jordanian intelligence hold a Jordanian nationality with Iraqi origin, a member of the former Iraqi royal family. After the assassination of the Royal family in Iraq’s revolution against the monarchy (King Faisal and his mother, his siblings), the survivors fled Iraq to their relative King of Jordan.

Recruited to work in the Jordanian intelligence, his talent is that he “family of the King. There are mentioning of reasons behind Ali bin Zaid Al Aoun death on the Jordanian media, only very brief reports saying that he died while he was doing “humanitarian” work in Afghanistan.

Fun with the Jordanian media

Jordanian Information Minister Nabil Sharif denyed that Al-Balawi is Jordanian and related to the Jordanian intelligence or the Jordanian state, and he accused foreign media of reporting false news. ~ Al-Hayat 06-01-2010.

Saudi Media joined the Jordanian false propaganda trying to connect the man with the Palestinians, it changed the name from Al-Balawi (which is a Jordanian name, and not a Palestinian origin name) to Al-Bala’awi and Al-Balauri (both are Palestinian family names). ~ Elaph 06-01-2010.
