IHEC gave the polit­i­cal blocs a dead time of 3 days to change the names of the excluded politi­cians, accord­ing to Al-Hayat. The same source reported that if the new names rejected by the IHEC then there is no way for a sec­ond change.

Allawi’s Al-Iraqiya List and its allies, in their meet­ing yes­ter­day, decided not to change the names of its can­di­dates and ignores the (J and A Commission).

There are uncon­firmed leaked infor­ma­tion expected that the com­ing Supreme Court deci­sion (within two days) will approve the exclu­sion of Salih Mut­laq and oth­ers from par­tic­i­pat­ing in the elec­tion. The excluded politi­cians are wait­ing for the reac­tion of the UNAMI, Arab League and the Islamic Con­fer­ence Orga­ni­za­tion to cut a deal with their polit­i­cal Coali­tions leaders.

Inac­cu­rate reports on the News agen­cies (such as Radio Sawa) says that Muq­tada Al-Sadr, attacked the leader of Asaib Al-Haq — Al-Khazaali, accus­ing the orga­ni­za­tion of wag­ing a sec­tar­ian sedi­tion and civil-war, which led to the arrests of the Sadrists (both met about a week ago)

Muq­tada Al-Sadr’s state­ment didn’t name “Asaib Al-Haq or Al-Khazaali. A gen­eral answer to ques­tion: What to do with those who split from the [Sadrists] Move­ment?

Answer: report them to the [Sadrists] head­quar­ter, and freeze their activ­i­ties while inves­ti­gat­ing the issue.

In an inter­view with Akram Al-Kaabi, a lead­ing fig­ure of Asaib Al-Haq and on the U.S. ter­ror­ists list, he said that the mili­tia still have a British and an Amer­i­can hostages, and would not release them only with a deal did which he refused to give more details about this deal.

Al-Kaabi didn’t deny the rela­tion between Al-Asaib and Iran’s rev­o­lu­tion Guards and even Hezbol­lah, but he refused to answer the ques­tion of traing­ing camps in Lebanon for secu­rity reasons.

As for the rela­tion with Muq­tada Al-Sadr, Al-Kaabi said that we respect him but he has his way and we have our way, and he refused to clas­sify the the Iraqi resis­tance fac­tions into Shi­ite and Sunni fac­tions say­ing our goal is the same.
