Election Day curfew announced by Al-Qaeda

Why nobody reported this? The ban of Salih Al-Mutlaq reached a semi-solution (I reported a week ago that there be a solution soon), by replacing him with his brother Ibrahim Al-Mutlaq to take Salih’s place in Al-Iraqiya List as second after Allawi.

Maliki continued his domination on key official post in the Gov. before the election, appointing his political adviser Sadiq Al-Rukabi as the new ambassador in Washington. Former Najaf governor and Dawa Party member Asaad Abu Al-Kalil as the new ambassador in Tehran, and another Dawa Party member Jawad Hadi Abbas as the new ambassador in Jordan.

Two of Maliki’s “Tribal advisers” Abboud, Wahid-Issawi, and Isa Al-Zamili are also excluded by J and A saying they were were “Othu Friqa” = “Cell leaders” in Baath Party.

Both men are “State of Law” candidates in Najaf, but the authority in Najaf is trying to play bad communication we didn’t received the official J and A decision yet.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq aka “Iraq’s Islamic State” released a statement declares a curfew on 07-March (election day) from 06.00 to 18.00 and the one who will:

Defy the law of God, and this clear warning, will expose himself to fire where all kind of weapons will be used.

Is this authentic, or just political parties games? The image below for example is of leaflet warns the people of Anbar from voting to Allawi and signed by Al-Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Omar Al-Baghdadi (wrongly written). The funny side is that these leaflets are distrbuted on Anbar Province by Helicopters.
