The ingredients required to start a civil war are here:

The new exclusion of the 52 Iraqi politicians (among them Salih Al-Mutlaq brother “Ibrahim Al-Mutlaq”), Al-Iraqiya hold an urgent meeting to discuss the withdrawal from the political process. An alternative for Al-Iraqiya is reported by Al-Nujaifi saying: The possibility to restore the entire electoral process under a “temporary” government.

Al-Iraqiya, also put five conditions to accept the re-count of the votes:

1. Board of Commissioners should vote a unanimous decision on the mechanisms and controls adopted in this re-cpunt.
2. That the process of being re-counting under:
A — the supervision of international observers.
B — the supervision of observers of political entities.
C – the approval of the United Nations on the mechanisms and controls that approved by the Board of Commissioners.

3. Not to begin the process only after the implementation of 1 and 2 above.

4. the process of re-counting and sorting should include the following:
A — polling stations, which had been deleted without justification in the Karkh district of Baghdad.
B — electoral districts in the Southern provinces, Al-Iraqiya had challenged the results and requested re-counts.

5. IHEC should to provide assurances about the safety of the early ballot boxes in the storage places.

The Sadrists stronghold-neighborhoods reported tensions between the Muqtada Al-Sadr supporters and the U.S.-Iraqi forces.

Muqtada Al-Sadr received a a letter sent to him by Sunnis in prison, signed in blood (image above) to show their loyality to the cleric, asking Al-Sadr to lead the resistance

Last explosion wave and the U.S. plan B

At the background of the last explosions wave in Iraq, we can read the following facts:

- These explosions are planned and implemented in order to target the Iraqi Shiites, who are about the majority of the Iraqi society.

- The goal of these bombings is to raise the anger and frustration, to drive the Shiites to carry out further actions against the other parties.

The message behind the explosions are the following:

- A direct and clear message to the Iraqi Shiites; no matter how large the group is, they are unable to impose their full political agenda on Iraqi politics.

- To deter the Iraqi National Alliance (INA), and the State of Law (SoL) from building a new unified Shi’ite alliance, which exclude the Kurds, and the Sunnis.

- To warn Tehran of the consequences of the reliance on the Iraqi Shiite political forces alone to control the Iraqi politics.

It is known that Iraq has been a scene of widespread “death squad” activities during the second half in 2006 and the first half of 2007, activity has been characterized as follows:

- The involvement of all Iraqi political forces in the “death squads” activities.

- The liquidation of large numbers of Iraqis and non-Iraqi, (about a million if we add the people killed by the U.S. occupation forces).

The activities of the “death squads”, did not focus on ethnic cleansing, but it was associated in many events to guide and redirect the political pressure, in order to force the opponent(s) to make concessions and change their political position.

Current developments indicate the return of the Iraqi “death squads” activities, but, this time, will take a new additional dimension:

- Some parties in the U.S. rejects the principle of U.S. forces withdrawal from Iraq, pushes for more chaos and mass violence.

- Pressure on the U.S. administration, to delay the decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq.

Notice what George Friedman wrote in his last analysis of the Iraqi situation, in which he asked Obama’s Administration to abandon the forces withdrawal plan, and search for plan B, to achieve the following:

- U.S.: Implementation of reasons, so that the Obama administration can extend the U.S. military presence in Iraq.

- Iraq: the redeployment of U.S. forces in Iraqi cities and villages.

- Arab World: urge the U.S. allies in the region to support and finance the presence of the U.S. forces in Iraq.

Friedman hinted, that the Friday bombing in Iraq, is to balance the recent Iranian military maneuver in the Gulf, in other words, if Iran’s interference and control in the Shiite failed Washington’s and Saudi Arabia’s efforts in the formation of the Iraqi government, then (according to Friedman)the Friday bombings meant to deter Tehran and its allies against the control of the Iraqi scene.

- Al-Qaeda in Iraq has become more vulnerable, its leadership has become more aware that the Iraqi Shiites reject the continued U.S. military presence in Iraq.

- The emergence of Friedman’s document, timed with the bombings wave reflects the hidden involvement of some parties in the official U.S. Administration, who reject the withdrawal of the U.S. Forces from Iraq.

The expected Iraqi scene in the coming days, will be the increase of violence, especially with the growing disputes among on forming a governing coalition. Al-Iraqiya keeps asking for the PM office, which means the Kurdish Alliance are out of the equation, an issue would strengthen the Kurdish separatism, and puts the future of Iraq’s unity again in threat of separatism and division.

    Ladysweetie,
You’ve written a very interesting post.
A bit too conspiracy-riddled at times,
    but interesting none-the-less.

This is the Obamination we’re talking about,
there are no grand schemes by his Administration to
keep more than the minimal force in Iraq.
And the American people want out of Iraq — LOL,
it’s taking longer than WWII and almost as expensive.

I just don’t see the Arab-themed conspiracy theory fantasies at work here.
