Qatar, Pales­tine

Qatar tries to pre­vent the Pales­tin­ian Author­ity from going to the UN in Sep­tem­ber to the inter­na­tional to seek the recog­ni­tion as a Pales­tin­ian State on 1967 borders,.

Syria, Aljazeera

Aljazeera changed its tac­tics report­ing the Syr­ian unrest. Instead of say­ing (an eye­wit­ness) or (filmed by an eye wit­ness), Aljazeera started to report (in a video sur­faced on the Inter­net) or (a Syr­ian video on the Inter­net), a tac­tic designed to deflect the blame from Qatar’s role in imple­ment­ing false eye­wit­nesses pro­vid­ing them with Thu­raiyah tele­phones pay­ing them 100$ per video.

Egypt

Coor­di­na­tion with the US Admin­is­tra­tion, a series of “pos­i­tive” arti­cles appeared in the Amer­i­can news­pa­pers are report­ing about the Egypt­ian pres­i­den­tial can­di­date, the Islamist Abdel Mon­eim Abul Fotouh as a pro­gres­sive Islamist, respect for democ­racy, sup­port the free­dom of expres­sion and his respect for the women rights.

The Egypt­ian polit­i­cal arena is now wit­ness­ing a split between the youth groups of the Rev­o­lu­tion, and the Mus­lim Broth­er­hood, which is seen recently in the new sched­uled demonstrations.

Saudi Ara­bia

Dur­ing the past three months, coop­er­a­tion with France and Britain, Saudi Ara­bia and some other GCC coun­tries increased their sup­port for the Sunni Salafi Islamic move­ments. These move­ments have emerged, and now active in Syria, Libya, Lebanon and Alge­ria. The US is not very sup­port­ive of this plan.
