This is the last advert from the UNICSF “More than 100 million children live on streets. And eat off it.
Even before the war officially finished, rebuilding Lebanon Projects were already started. I am not sure if the first "poster" refers to the lack of electricity in Lebanon, due to Israeli air strikes of power plants. or it symbolizes the Lebanese economy being ‘off’, and that it needs assistance.More info about the Muscat City Center donation drive here. The second is “Audi ...
Wow...I don't know what to call this Advert or Art....just read this from ICRC website: Torture is an affront to humanity and a crime. In addition, it feeds a cycle of violence, often engendering hatred not only among those who suffer directly but among entire communities. In places of detention ill-treatment and abuse is prevalent in many countries. The ICRC has ...
Billboard in Toronto advertising for "simply audio books". The company offers (as the name says): books you can listen to. Seems like a growing business nowadays with MP3 music players providing the devices to listen to a book while you walk or drive your car. The message (if you still didn’t get it) is you will end up as idiot as ...
Designed by UMS Advertising, Muscat, Oman Simple idea but very effective
This sculpture hung in the Museum of Fine Arts Mannheim, Germany. Amnesty wanted people to experience more about a subject which often avoid and tend to pass by. The sculptures is subtitling with: "This is just a duplicate. The original hangs in a prison cell somewhere in the Middle East. Without witnesses. Without hope. Help us to stop this happening. Amnesty-international.de Jordan appears to ...
A very critical subject, you need a simple idea to reach as much public as possible. You get the impression that it’s the same airplane but the images taken from different sides. Terror Airlines
This is what could happen if our world gets overheated. Only Noach with his arch could survive. On one of these two places 1- Himalaya Archipelago. 2- Kilimanjaro Island. Great imagination, simple design with clear message. P.S. Don’t forget to say: “Thank you Pearl Jam.
Powerful video advert from the Dutch Anti Bullfighting Committee CAS. It's disgusting and sick. It's a cultural thing they say in Spain and some Latin American countries. Sometimes you had to get rid of some cultural traditions. The Anti Bullfighting Committee CAS was founded in 1990 by the Dutch Animal Protection Society and the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). ...

Just listened to Zawahiri's speech after I read these reports say that he used "insult" words.
Zawahri uses the word "Abid" or "Abd" translated directly to English as "slave" but it also means "addicted" or "loyal".
You can find the same word in many Arabic names such as these of the King of Saudi Arabia or Jordan "Abd"dullah.
The English word "negro" transited to Arabic as "Zinji" is more racial and insulting than "Abd", because "Zinji" or even "Aswad" = "black" usually refers to an ethnic inferior minority.
According to Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida, Davis Miliband in his visit to Syria, had a letter from Israeli Prime Minister Olmert to Bashar Al-Asad assured him of Israel's willingness to continue the negotiations.
According to Al-Akhbar, Gadhafi's son visit to the U.S. aimed to promote the transfer of power and to approve father-son succession in Libya, especially that he will visit Jewish activists in the U.S.
As reported on Al-Akhbar:
Western countries intelligence services and particularly France started to accuse Saudi Arabia of arming the fundamentals in Lebanon after they found special guns and arms sold by France at the time of the former President Jacques Chirac to Saudi Arabia.
Good report on the Palestinian newspaper Al-Manar on Hamas options and the next move:
Sources close to Hamas said that the movement is in a very difficult position, reluctant to launch attacks on Israel and would prefer to wait until the U.S. political situation to stabilize.
Hamas leaders in exile want to exercise restraint, but they are unable to control the military commanders. Hamas has three options:
1- To go towards Egypt and continue the peace dialogue [with Fatah] immediately and unconditionally.
2- To continue the "calculated" escalation, without pushing the situation to the exploding point.
3- Its called the suicidal option:
A- Armed operation in areas surrounds Gaza strip, joined by other armed factions, but any direct confrontation will hurt Hamas heavily.
B- To confront the Israeli pressure with attacks outside the Gaza strip, in the West Bank or inside Israel, trying to boost its negotiations demands.
The story of the hijacked Saudi oil tanker "Sirius Star" is escalating but yet there are few confusing reports on the Saudi media.
The strange thing is what Saudi funded newspaper AL-Sharq AL-Awsat reported this morning:
The Saudi border guards denied the reports of a hijacked Saudi ship; they [border guards] did not receive any distress call from any ship or Saudi oil tanker exposed to a piracy operation.
The most confusing is what Saudi newspaper reported this morning:
[Saudi oil tanker] "Sirius Star" is liberated.
A Saudi source confirmed the release of "Sirius Star".
