Central News Agency quoted Syrian security officials that the exploded car last Saturday did not enter Syria from the Lebanese borders.
Syria official reported says that the 4x4 GMC car entered Syria from a neighboring country. There are rumors that the car entered from Jordan.

Syria blocked the distribution of Saudi funded newspaper Al-Hayat. The newspaper published many reports lately about Syrian interference in north Lebanon such as the U.S. warning to Syria.

The story of an explosion after a car accident is confirmed today by the Syrian media, added something new:
Hours after the blast, the authorities were able to detect the cell planned to attack, arresting a number of people. The search is still underway for others, members of the group are Arab nationalities, there are no Syrians among them.

AKI reported few minutes ago that a Syrian Brigadier Abdul-Karim Abbas, Vice-Chairman in the Syrian intelligence, is assassinated in yesterday's explosion. The Brigadier is questioned earlier and linked to Hariri assassination.
